Respawn is taking a hardline stance against Apex Legends players exploiting a Season 9 bug that lets you clip inside a rock and lug all entrance damage. The 'ghost rock' in question can exist found on the Phase Runner map, one of four set in motion maps in Apex Legends' bran-new Arenas mode. A fix to the rock clipping bug was supposed to come in yesterday's patch that nerfed the new Bocek bow and Spitfire, but Respawn said in a followup tweet that information technology was delayed for "quality-control reasons."

Respawn then warned players that exploiting the ghost rock for individualised gain isn't allowed. "Be aware that abusing this exploit while it's hush approximately is bannable," the developer wrote.

By the looks of IT, dealing with a player glitching into the difficult rock and roll is pretty teasing. You can clip into the rock aside simply walk-to into IT and you dismiss't ascertain direct Beaver State shoot down into IT, resulting in an awkward shuffle in and out of the John Rock.

Respawn's warning Crataegus laevigata come as a surprise if you recreate other combative shooters. Many games like Rainbow 6 Siege, Valorant, and Call of Duty: Warzone technically illegalise the abuse of glorious bugs and exploits, but anecdotally, these rules don't appear to be strictly enforced (understandable when thither are bigger fish to Fry like hackers). Back when Warzone's dateless stim glitch would repeatedly pop for months, Activision focused on fixing it and never rattling talked about bans.

That was a game-breaking tap that could undivided-handedly deflower a 150-player match, so it's notable that Respawn is unsheathing its ban hammer for a single rock that players can sometimes use to rip off their way through a teamfight.

Ease, I wonder how Respawn is detecting these rock criminals. You can report players in-game for dirty, but shortened of video tell clearly showing an wrongdoer victimization the ghost rock, I'm nosey to know how IT can be official. IT seems same Respawn is following through on its warning, so that's encouraging.
